Warehouse Supervisor South Armagh Vickerstock is working in partnership with a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing business who are seeking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of their warehouse and dispatch operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who is comfortable working across multiple systems and enjoys leading from the front in a hands-on environment. What's on offer Competitive hourly rate of £18.41 Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm | Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm Early finish on a Friday Opportunity to take ownership of a key operational area Stable role within a growing and supportive business Your day to day As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse operations, with a strong focus on accuracy, traceability, and timely dispatch. Taking full ownership of warehouse and dispatch activities, ensuring all goods movements are accurately recorded and documented Managing stock control processes including transfers, reconciliation, and FIFO rotation Supporting production by ensuring continuous supply of materials including ingredients, packaging, and pallets Overseeing goods-in and goods-out, ensuring all checks (batch codes, expiry dates, quantities) are completed accurately Maintaining high standards of compliance in line with food safety and quality requirements Driving warehouse housekeeping, cleanliness, and overall site standards Coordinating safe and efficient yard operations, including vehicle movements and pallet management Preparing stock and materials for upcoming shifts to ensure operational continuity Your essential ingredients: Previous experience within a warehouse environment, ideally in a supervisory or senior role Experience working with multiple warehouse or stock management systems Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience operating warehouse equipment such as EPT or FLT Strong organisational and planning skills Desirable but not a deal breaker: Forklift licences (Counterbalance, Reach, Pallet Truck) Experience with stocktaking and variance investigation Shunter licence Interested in finding out more?
