A busy NHS practice servicing 21,000 patients is looking for an exceptional medical receptionist to join our established team. We need someone with a sharp mind, eager to learn, willing to listen and wanting to help our patients. Team work, and working independently required in this role. An excellent level of english required.
Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills, will be computer literate and want to work as part of an existing phenomenal admin team.
We are looking for One full time candidate to work 40 hrs a week (over five days).
Job Responsibilities include:
* Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice.
* Deal with all general inquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments.
* Using your own judgment and communication skills ensure that patients have a smooth and easy journey to get the care they need in the practice.
* Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover and ensure procedures are completed.
* Answer phone calls in a prompt manner, book appointments, take messages and ensure accuracy of messages and phone numbers
* Work as part of a large and dynamic team to give the best care possible for all of our patients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour

* London W2 5EH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
* Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
