About The Role Shift pattern: Saturday and Sunday 7am-12:30pm Additional information: rate of pay variable upon shift availability To provide a High Standard of cleaning within the Essex Police Buildings this would include the cleaning of Office Areas, Toilets/Showers, Kitchen Areas and General Cleaning of Cells. Duties And Responsibilities Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning specification and work schedules including Custody but not Foul Cells. Complete ADHOC jobs as requested by your line manager Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is always required. Ensure company policies and procedures are always followed. Follow the safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH). To ensure the handover of any outstanding work. Qualifications & Experience Skills & abilities: Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team. Good communication skills, Ability to operate in a pressurised environment. Excellent time management. Attention to detail and proactive. Experience Experience in working within a team as well as on your own – essential Knowledge of COSHH Previous experience within similar role. Any Other Requirements Flexible approach to working hours, including working weekends & Bank Holidays Willingness to take any further appropriate training.
