Rate of Pay: £15.83 per hour + performance-based bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Weekly Hours: 39 hours
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM; Friday 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Join Our North West Painting Team – Skilled Painter & Decorator Wanted. We are looking for an experienced professional to carry out high-quality painting and decorating works across the North West region. This is a secure, full-time role with stable hours, competitive pay, and a focus on quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
* Work across a variety of domestic, commercial, and public sector properties, providing internal and external painting and decorating services.
* Prepare walls and surfaces for painting (filling, sanding, minor repairs).
* Apply finishes including emulsion, gloss, and specialist coatings.
* Erect and use access equipment (full training and equipment provided).
* Install temporary screening to protect surroundings and ensure safety.
* Manage paint and materials stock levels, ensuring efficient usage.
* Keep tools clean and well-maintained for reuse.
* Complete work to a high standard, within budget and deadlines.
* Record work using smartphone technology, including photos and notes.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years' checkable experience in painting and decorating.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or completed time-served apprenticeship (ideally).
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence preferred (travel between sites required).
