The organisation is seeking a Finance Manager/Senior Financial Accountant to support its financial operations and reporting obligations. This is a key role within a collaborative and mission-driven finance team, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the organisation.Your new roleIn this role, you will play a central role in ensuring the organisation and its subsidiaries meet all statutory and legal financial obligations. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Director.You will:
* Lead on the production of accurate and insightful financial and management information
* Support the preparation of statutory accounts and the Annual Report
* Ensure robust financial controls are in place and operating effectively
* Act as a key liaison with internal and external auditors, banks, investment managers, and other stakeholders
* Manage and develop a small team
* Contribute to budgeting & forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
* A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
* Experience preparing consolidated accounts and managing trading subsidiaries
* Proven ability to manage and develop finance staff
* Systems development experience and a proactive approach to process improvement
* High attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and a self-starting attitude
