Lead Systemic Family Psychotherapist – CAMHS
We are seeking an experienced family and systemic psychotherapist to join our established family therapy service within specialist CAMHS in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Responsibilities
* Provide evidence‑based systemic treatment for children with mental health difficulties.
* Lead specialist family therapy clinics across the county.
* Develop and support systemic thinking and practice within CAMHS.
* Deliver training and supervision to newly qualified family therapists and to staff on introductory and intermediate levels.
* Consult with other CAMHS professionals and collaborate in multi‑agency working.
* Develop innovative systemic approaches to improve outcomes for young people and families.
* Maintain links with university training courses and support staff development through HEE funding.
Qualifications
* UKCP registration as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist.
* Member of the Association of Family Therapists.
* Post‑graduate qualifications in family therapy at doctorate level or higher within the family therapy specialism.
* UK professional registration (current at time of appointment).
* A qualification in systemic supervision recognised by the AFT (desirable).
Experience
* Substantial experience working in NHS, social services or similar agencies.
* Experience applying systemic practice with children and adolescents with mental health problems.
* Assessment of the needs of individual children and families.
* Experience in inter‑agency and multi‑agency working.
* Experience working with children and families with cultural or language issues.
* Experience in training, supervision and consultation of staff.
Skills & Abilities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Independent, organised and able to manage time effectively.
* Capability to deliver training to multi‑agency groups.
* Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance and use clinical supervision.
* Proactiveness, positive attitude and adaptability to change.

Working Conditions
* Location: Kidderminster Health Centre, Bromsgrove Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1PG.
* Salary: £55,690 to £62,682 per year (pro‑rated for part‑time).
* Contract: Permanent (full‑time, part‑time or flexible).
* Band: 8a.
