Head of HR 6‑Month FTC Edinburgh - 5 days per week on‑site We are recruiting a Head of HR on behalf of one of our transport clients for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, based full time on site in Edinburgh. This is a senior, hands‑on role requiring an experienced HR leader to oversee the full HR function and partner closely with senior stakeholders in a complex, operational environment. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational HR leadership across the organisation Lead employee relations, including complex disciplinary and grievance cases Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice Oversee recruitment, performance management, reward, and workforce planning Lead organisational change, restructures, and consultation processes Manage and develop the HR team Advise senior leaders on all people‑related matters Person Specification Proven experience at Head of HR or senior HR leadership level Strong knowledge of UK employment law Experience in transport, operational, or regulated environments Confident managing complex employee relations and change programmes CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) Credible, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a fully on‑site role If this role is of interest and you can commit to 5 days on site, we would love to hear from you.
