Job Summary
This Audit Professional role focuses on delivering high-quality audits that meet client needs. As an Audit Professional, you'll identify and assess risks, raise concerns with managers, and produce clear work for review.
Main Duties
* Assess risks, raise concerns with managers and partners as needed.
* Produce clear work for review by managers and partners, highlighting issues and potential solutions.
* Understand client needs, suggesting technical solutions and communicating with managers.
* Engage with senior staff to gain business insight, ensuring efficient audit execution.
* Monitor progress against actuals, understanding variances with managers.
* Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
* Participate in group, stream, and firm-wide activities.
Required Expertise
* Newly Qualified ACA/ICAS or overseas equivalent.
* Educated up to degree level or CTS.
* Experience supervising and coaching junior staff on site.
* Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
* Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
* Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
* Sector experience.
* Experience auditing international groups.
