Are you passionate about supporting learners to thrive both personally and academically? We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Coach to join our Wellbeing, Inclusion, Safeguarding and Prevent team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students by providing tailored wellbeing support and guidance.
You’ll work closely with curriculum teams and support services to help learners overcome barriers, improve attendance, and achieve their goals. Whether through one-to-one coaching, group interventions, or managing wellbeing action plans, your role will be central to fostering a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Actual Salary: £16,985.99 - £17,835.04 per annum
Working Pattern:
1. 24 hours a week
2. Tuesday - Thursday
3. 8.30am-5.30pm
This role is Fixed Term up to 12 months
Essential Criteria
4. GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
5. Experience working with learners in a teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching capacity
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
7. Ability to manage and support learners individually and in groups
8. Proficient in using ICT and learner management systems
Key Responsibilities
9. Provide wellbeing support via the Wellbeing Centre and learner management systems (e.g. CPOMS, ProSuite)
10. Manage and respond to learner concerns, offering short/medium term interventions
11. Set and review SMART targets and wellbeing action plans
12. Liaise with curriculum teams, tutors, and external professionals to support learner success
13. Monitor attendance and behaviour, providing targeted interventions
14. Support learners with personal development, employability skills, and career planning
15. Contribute to safeguarding, Prevent, and inclusion initiatives
16. Staff the Wellbeing Centre and participate in enrichment activities and educational visits
17. Maintain accurate records and engage with quality assurance processes

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
