Vehicle Technician – Pay, Hours and Benefits
* 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

The Vehicle Technician role is commutable from the following areas: Glasgow, Kilmarnock, Dumarton, Renfrew, Paisley.
This role would suit an enthusiastic customer focused candidate, with a professional approach, who is conscientious and produces high quality work.

From day one you will be provided with on-the-job training; this will be ongoing throughout your career with the company. A full training program will be put in place for the right candidate. This may include a qualification to work on Electric Vehicles.
* Ideally previously experienced in the installation of vehicle adaptations, a vehicle mechanic, vehicle technician or engineer and have some knowledge of auto electrics.
* Highly Flexible and used to working to high standards.
* Be able to perform well while under pressure while working to deadlines.
* Must be computer literate to send job reports and emails after each installation.
* Have a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the Service and Installation Department.
* Valid Driving Licence.
* Provide a professional Installation Service for all products.
* This is completed at workshop facility. Some travel to customer or dealer premises may be required from time to time in line with the needs of the business.
* Deal with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
* Work to a weekly and daily schedule of work.
* Install products to a high standard and carrying out quality control inspections.
* Conduct product demonstrations for customers after each installation to ensure they know how the products work.
* Carry out relevant product training as required.
* Weekly checks to make sure stock levels are correct and current.
* Must be a team player with the ability to work alone.

This is a superb opportunity for a Plant Fitter to join the team on a Morning shift with an early finish on a Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture, modification, maintenance, and repair, of a variety of equipment and ancillaries, ensuring that the fleet remains in prime working condition.
Plant Fitter – Benefits
* Salary between £40,000 - £45,000
* 41.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Key Duties
* As a Plant Fitter, your key responsibilities will include: read and interpret engineering drawings to complete manufacture and modification as requested.
* Experience and skill of fault-finding, maintenance and repair of heavy-duty construction plant and hydraulic systems would be ideal.
* Use appropriate hand and power tools to complete tasks

Requirements of the Plant Fitter
* You must hold a full UK driving licence and a Level 2 qualification in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
* Previous experience is needed in heavy plant/ construction equipment.
* Although this role is not a mobile fitter role, they will be expected to go out to sites to attend breakdowns and general repairs, so need to have a driving licence.
* Experience with JCB’s and CAT

My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for the likes of Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. They are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who will have an understanding of Siemens S7 and have worked in a heavy engineering environment.
This position would be ideal for someone with plant maintenance skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. You will be working a continental shift pattern, and you will be paid a lifestyle bonus of £47 for every weekend day worked (excluding overtime). This will take your salary to around £48,104.35
