Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional personal care and support to clients within their homes, promoting independence and preserving their dignity. Lead and supervise a team of care assistants, ensuring the delivery of care to the highest standards. Conduct spot checks, competencies, and regular reviews for care staff to maintain quality and compliance. Collaborate with the care management team to plan and assess individual care needs, creating personalised care plans. Monitor clients' health status and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns. Assist clients with various daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, medication management, and meal preparation. Offer compassionate companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and friendly environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and the care management team, facilitating effective communication and understanding. Requirements: Proven experience in domiciliary care, demonstrating a track record of delivering high-quality care services. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor and motivate a care team effectively. Ability to conduct spot checks, competencies, and reviews for care staff. Possession of a valid driver's licence is mandatory.
