Responsibilities
1. Help the Survey Manager in keeping the TBM on track.
2. Review contractual agreements and develop working methods and measure programs with the Survey Manager, identifying any inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
3. Assess actual targets achieved, review weekly, take appropriate action, and report any changes to the Survey Manager.
4. Requisition resources in a timely manner to ensure they are correctly specified and readily available to prevent survey operation delays.
5. Communicate non-conformances and instructions from the client/designer to the QA and QS teams.
6. Maintain comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works.
7. Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including subcontractors’ attendance and work-related discussions with the client/designer/project team.
8. Ensure adherence to risk assessments and method statements for work control.
9. Manage, supervise, train, and mentor the site team to optimize their contributions.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Survey or a related field.
2. Experience in underground work.
3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in underground work in a self-organized occupation.
4. Driving license.
5. Experience in leading survey crews.
6. Experience with Network Grids – GPS/Traversing/Levelling.
7. Experience in Monitoring.
8. Experience in Setting Out.
9. Experience with 3D Laser Scanning.
10. Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
