Job Title: Aviation Safety Investigator
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Salary: £50-60k per annum

Key Responsibilities
* Lead investigations into aviation incidents, occurrences, and accidents in line with Safety Management System (SMS) processes.
* Act as the first responder in aviation incident deployments, including international travel to site if required.
* Deliver detailed safety recommendations to mitigate future risks.
* Proactively review aviation incident reports to identify the need for further investigation.
* Drive continuous improvement of investigation processes and safety procedures.
* Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues identified during investigations.
* Manage the Event Review Group (ERG) process and contribute to post-incident reviews.
* Promote and support a positive safety culture in alignment with the organisation’s SMS.
Experience
* Qualified Aviation Safety Investigator with demonstrable experience in safety investigations.
* Minimum 5 years' experience within the aviation industry in a safety, flight operations, or engineering capacity.
* Strong background working with Safety Management Systems and aviation regulations.
* Proven experience implementing new processes and procedures.
Qualifications
* Aviation Safety Investigation certification or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using specialist safety and investigation software.
