Job Overview
Hours: up to 32 hours per week, to be used flexibly. 2 x 16‑hour blocks are also available.
Location: Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Rates of pay: £15.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal assistance to an adult with ADHD and autism to support his everyday activities and independence.
* Assist with planning and participation in leisure and recreational activities.
* Offer prompts and guidance to help him achieve routine tasks and promote self‑management.
* Maintain a supportive and structured environment, adapting to his emotional regulation needs.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting young adults with autism or similar neurodiverse conditions.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be patient and encouraging.
* Ability to work flexible hours and adjust to varying activity schedules.
* Valid UK work permission and a satisfactory DBS check are required.
