An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Southport, Merseyside area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
This care home has qualified and experienced care staff who are on hand 24 hours a day to provide a high standard of care. They are a highly trained and dedicated team who specialise in the care of older people.
Required qualifications: Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Key Duties
* Manage the care team within the Home
* Ensure that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional levels of care to residents
* Promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise
* Instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home
Preferred skills and experience
* Excellent communication and written skills
* Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
* Self‑motivated, resilient and well‑organised
* Team player but able to work on your own initiative
* Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
* Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
Benefits
Salary: GBP 14.55 per hour; annual salary up to GBP 33,290.40 per annum. Permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts available.
