You’ll build constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders who could be at the lowest point in their lives. Teamwork is essential to keep the prison, offenders and everyone who works here safe. You will be required to work various shifts and weekends.
In this unique career you’ll carry out many different roles in any one day – from peacekeeper to counsellor or teacher. You’ll work directly with prisoners in a unique environment, helping to protect the public and make a positive impact.
Responsibilities

* Work as part of a team to keep the prison, offenders and staff safe.
* Carry out multiple roles in a single day (peacekeeper, counsellor, teacher, etc.).
* Work various shifts and weekends as required.
