The Role
The role of a substitute teacher includes being responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies, collect completed work at the end of lessons, and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.

Working Hours & Benefits
Those working as substitute teachers with Teaching Personnel benefit from a flexible working schedule, with both pre-booked and short-notice opportunities available, varying over Full Time and Part Time hours. Weekly pay is processed every Friday along with a competitive pay rate, and you will receive ongoing support from a dedicated personal consultant.
