We are looking for a confident, friendly and self motivated Front of House Assistant to join our team on a seasonal basis from mid May to mid September. You will ensure all guests receive a warm, memorable, and personalised welcome to The Headland, setting the scene for their stay, making sure that all guests’ needs are anticipated and that any reasonable requests are actioned.
Main responsibilities...
* Deliver a 5* highly professional yet personal service to every
guest.
* Greet all guests in a friendly and courteous manner,
assisting with luggage and directing them to the reception desk.
* Familiarise yourself with the guest's needs and requirements
to ensure guest satisfaction and a flawless experience
* Perform tasks as delegated by the Concierge/Reception Manager,
demonstrating a high standard of personalised, friendly, and professional
service at all times.
* Proactively anticipate any problems which may occur and
ensure that any queries are followed up as quickly as possible.
* Be always an enthusiastic individual and continuously build
relationships with internal and external guests.
* Show presence at the Main Entrance door and Reception area.
* Build an excellent rapport with all guests from the moment
they arrive until the moment they depart.
* Deliver exemplary service to every guest that you encounter
around the hotel.
* Our very own traffic warden, ensuring the smooth flow of
traffic outside the main hotel entrance, prohibiting unauthorised vehicles
from parking at the entrance, managing the flow of traffic at the top of the
drive and restricting the influx of cars to just hotel residents.
* Taking payment from non-resident guests for use of the carpark
* Ensure all room requirements are completed before guest arrival.
* Show our guests and visitors around the grounds so that they
can fully understand the facilities available, upselling when suitable.
* Any other front-of-house duties
Salary and Contract...
This position is offered on a zero hour contract, with hours to include working evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
