We are looking for a time-served Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join our clean, modern garage in Bridgend. This isn't a "test-lane only" role; you will be getting stuck into high-level mechanical repairs and advanced diagnostics using the best equipment in the industry.
The Rewards
* Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year.
* MOT Bonus: Higher rates available for qualified MOT Testers.

About the Workshop
Forget the high-pressure corporate environments. Our Bridgend facility is a modern, independent workshop that invests heavily in technology. We provide specialist tools, laptops, and AI-assisted mechanical support to make your job easier. You will have full vehicle data access and Mastertech support (Autologic / OPUS IVS) to ensure you can tackle any fault with confidence.
Your Role
As a key member of our Bridgend technical team, you will:
* Mechanical Repairs: Handle engine work, servicing, and general mechanical maintenance.
* Fault Finding: Lead on diagnostics, tuning, and remapping using our specialist on-site tools.
* MOT Support: Manage MOT failure diagnosis, rectifications, and retests (covering for our full-time tester when needed).
* Tyre Fitting: Manage wheel and tyre replacements as part of the repair process.
* Digital Workflow: Use our tablet-based system to update jobs, upload photos, and send progress reports to customers.
* Communication: Occasionally explain technical faults clearly to our customers to maintain our high trust rating.
What You Need
* Experience: You must be a time-served Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
* Certification: An MOT Tester license is strongly preferred (but we can help you obtain this if you don't have it).
* Tech Savvy: You should be confident using diagnostic software and computer-based booking systems.
* Compliance: A full UK driving license is essential.
* Reliability: A professional, customer-focused attitude and a desire for long-term stability.
