Position Summary
We\'re seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a dedicated engineering team. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring machinery runs efficiently, production remains uninterrupted, and all work meets strict safety and quality standards.
What You\'ll Do
* Respond to machinery breakdowns and prioritise repairs to minimise downtime
* Carry out safety checks and preventative maintenance at scheduled intervals
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality procedures
* Log all work accurately on the digital maintenance system (APP)
* Support stock control through correct storage and labelling of spare parts
* Identify remedial work following inspections or observations
* Deliver planned maintenance to a high standard and within deadlines
* Liaise with management regarding concerns or improvement opportunities
* Support team development through coaching and knowledge sharing
What You Bring
* Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or production
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance procedures
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Experience using digital maintenance systems (APP or similar)
* A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
* Level 3 qualification (or higher) in mechanical or electrical engineering
