Job Title: Chef - Residential Care Home (2 Openings)
Rural setting (Access to personal transport required)
00 per hour (plus bonus scheme and yearly bonus)
Contract: Full-Time (40 hours per week, including 2 out of 3 weekends)
Our commitment to quality care extends to every aspect of our service, including the food we serve. We are seeking two enthusiastic and creative Chefs to join our Client's care home team. Working alongside our kitchen manager on opposite days, you will be responsible for preparing meals that not only meet high standards of presentation and cleanliness but also bring comfort and joy to our residents. This is not a high-pressure kitchen environment but one where attention to detail and a genuine love for homely cooking truly shine. While experience in preparing soft diets is preferred, we provide full training for those eager to learn. A passion for baking and cooking heart-warming food is essential.
Note: A valid driving license and access to personal transport are a must due to the rural location.
Prepare delicious, high-quality meals on a rotational menu with the opportunity to help shape future menus.
Kitchen Standards: Maintain impeccable food presentation and uphold strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Special Diets: Preferably, prepare soft diets (training provided if needed).
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen manager and the broader care team to ensure a cohesive service.
Offer input into meal planning and scheduling to keep our food both varied and delightful.
Competitive Pay: £12.00 per hour, complemented by a bonus scheme and an annual bonus.
Flexible Working: Full-time role with a 40-hour workweek, including 2 out of 3 weekends.
