HGV Technician Needed in Stockport
1. Split Shifts – 4 on / 4 off, alternating weeks 07:00 – 19:00 and 19:00 – 07:00 (42 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities for a HGV Technician:
4. Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs to meet or exceed VOSA standards.
5. Ensure all vehicles and fleet assets are maintained to company standards.
6. Work flexibly across various VMU (Vehicle Maintenance Unit) tasks.
7. Support delivery schedules by ensuring vehicle availability.
8. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and support audit compliance.
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician:
9. City & Guilds LGV qualifications or equivalent in LGV Vehicle Crafts.
10. Previous experience in LGV fleet maintenance operations.
11. Strong planning and organisational skills.
12. Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
13. Full UK driving licence (LGV Licence C+E desirable but not essential).
