gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Planner to work at their facility based near Birmingham
Performance Objectives
1. To provide a professional engineering & maintenance support through the application of appropriate expertise, knowledge, and experience.
2. Ensure all maintenance activities are scheduled, planned and resource is efficiently utilised.
3. Work within the Planning team to ensure that all duties associated with and to the Planning Department are conducted efficiently.
4. To engage in the continued improvement and development of the Maintenance Planning Department.
5. Work within the Planning team to ensure that site fulfils its compliance obligations (e.g. Lifting tackle & Crane inspections, LEV inspections, receiver inspections, etc)
6. Work within the Planning team to ensure that sites Planned Maintenance schedule is achievable and fitting to the needs of the business. (Site planning model)
7. Assist with shutdown planning and project planning.
8. Work closely with the Area Engineers and Area Team Leaders/Managers to develop, improve and progress maintenance procedures and reliability (using the sites maintenance planning model)
