Internal Sales Manager – Education (182lw) – Yorkshire - £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 Commission Are you a confident communicator with a passion for relationship-building and strategic thinking? We’re partnering with a leading modular construction business during a time of exciting expansion. Specialising in off-site, fast-track, and sustainable building solutions, they’re growing their presence in the Education sector - providing modular facilities to schools, academies, and multi-academy trusts (MATs) across the UK. This Internal Sales Manager role will be selling services/facilities and will be instrumental in building client relationships, generating leads, and taking opportunities through the full sales cycle - from first contact to order. Job Responsibilities Self-generate leads and build relationships with key decision-makers in the Education sector, leading to the ongoing acquisition of new clients Drive enquiries across rental and permanent modular building solutions. Work closely with the marketing and bid teams to develop and deliver proposals, promote the business and develop marketing strategies to generate interest in the education sector. Take ownership of sales cycles from initial enquiry to closed deals. Analyse market trends, provide feedback on opportunities, and help shape growth strategy. Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to team reporting and forecasting. Experience Required Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Able to think commercially and identify opportunities. Resilient, self-motivated, and target driven. Comfortable working independently within a supportive team structure. Previous knowledge of DfE (Department for Education) procurement or modular construction is highly beneficial but not essential – for candidates that can demonstrate sales acumen; the right mindset, drive and communication skills to succeed (together you’re your ex-military transferable skills, such as stakeholder engagement, procurement/contract management, project delivery, briefing & influencing at a senior level for example) full sales training and peer support can be provided, including shadowing and buddying within an open-plan, collaborative team. Additional Information This is a predominantly office-based role in Yorkshire, with 1-day remote flexibility. Occasional client/site visits (expenses covered) as needed. Driving licence and access to your own car are essential.
