Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Putlands Veterinary Surgery.
Location: Putlands Veterinary Surgery, Paddock Wood, Kent TN12 6DZ
Contract: Permanent (salary to be paid in line with NMW)
Hours: 35 hours
Shift Pattern: Varied shifts Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm plus Saturday 8am - 12noon on a rolling rota.

Role
About the role: Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
Requirements
* Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
