Welder – Morning Shift
Location: Outskirts of Keighley
Shift: Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 2:15pm
Salary: £31,350- £38,594 per annum including shift allowance (up to £19.79 per hour) DOE

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join a skilled production team manufacturing precision-built assemblies and bespoke engineered equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served fabricator welder looking for long-term stability, varied fabrication work, and the chance to work within a well-established engineering environment that genuinely invests in its people.
You will be involved in the full fabrication and welding process, from preparing and assembling components through to final inspection, working from detailed engineering drawings to high quality and safety standards.

As a Fabricator / Welder, you will:
Prepare, fabricate, assemble, and weld components from engineering drawings and work orders
Carry out MIG welding and basic TIG welding activities to specification
Assemble machine sections, steel fabrications, and pipework systems
Set up and operate fabrication machinery including rolling and swaging equipment
Cut, shape, finish, and polish materials using hand tools and cutting equipment
Complete quality inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance standards are achieved
Safely move and handle fabrications using cranes and lifting equipment
Work to approved welding procedures, SOPs, and health & safety standards
Support production targets and wider operational activities where requiredWhat We’re Looking For
Level 3 Fabrication & Welding qualification, Plate Welder Apprenticeship, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ fabrication/welding experience including apprenticeship
Competent MIG welder with basic TIG welding experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong understanding of fabrication processes and welding symbols
Experience working within manufacturing, heavy engineering, or bespoke fabrication environments
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Positive team player with strong work ethic and reliability
ISO 9606 coding certification desirable
Experience with large fabrications desirable
Due to location and shift you will need your own transport
