Job Description
Abacare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant for our Port Talbot and Swansea sites.
* Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour (£12.90 per hour on weekends) plus mileage reimbursement.
* Location: Port Talbot, Swansea.
* Hours: Flexible – Part Time or Full Time, with paid travel time and guaranteed hours.
* Employment Conditions: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities
* Companionship – being a friendly face and preventing loneliness.
* Personal Care – all aspects of personal hygiene.
* Medication – collecting prescriptions and providing reminders.

* Housekeeping – keeping the home organised just the way the client prefers.
* Mobility – helping with getting around.
Qualifications
* Proficient in effective communication across all levels.
* Demonstrated sincere interest in working with our specific client group.
* Successfully passed DBS screening.
* Patience, compassion and a positive attitude at all times.
* Eagerness to engage in vocational training programmes, continually enhancing skills and knowledge.
* Displays initiative and autonomy.
* No experience required – training will be provided.
