The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £14.09 - £15.14
This is a 39-week sessional post, meaning working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.
Post 1 - Permanent 24 Hours
Days and hours of work:
Monday - Thursday, 08:30-15:25 (55-minute break)
Post 2 - Temporary 27.5 Hours
Temporary until 26th June 2026.
Days and hours of work:
Monday - Thursday, 08:30-15:25 (55-minute break)
Friday, 08:30-12:15 (15-minute break)

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Good general education standards.
Experience working with or caring for children with additional support needs.
Nursery Only:
SSSC registration is essential. If not already a member, you will need to apply within 3 months of starting.
PVG Membership
This role is regulated with vulnerable children and/or adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
All preferred candidates for regulated roles must join or update their PVG Scheme membership before employment.
