* Operational support experience, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance.
* Result-oriented, customer-focused, with good team relationships.
* At least 2 years of experience as a DB2 DBA on Mainframes.

* Developing solutions for application teams.
* Managing logical and physical partitioned databases.
* Data refreshes in development regions.

* Quarterly disaster recovery activities.
* Database restorations and redirects.
* Backups and recovery in standalone and DPF environments.
* Creating database objects such as databases, tablespaces, tables, views, and indexes.
* Supporting Windows applications like Philbert, WinSQL, NLP.
* Executing disaster recovery exercises.
* Cataloging mainframe databases for open systems access.
* Resolving user database issues.
* Managing user access permissions.
* Working with partitioned tables, materialized query tables, and views.
* Performing frequent restorations based on business needs.
* Managing tablespace backups and restorations.
* Supporting DB2 tools like IBM Data Studio, Rational Manager, and Installation Manager.
* Working with Q Replication.
* Managing incidents and changes using HPSM.
