SEN Teaching Assistants – Lymington
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated SEN School located in the Lymington area.
The School is an Ofsted-registered independent specialist school, offering 38-week through to 52-week residential and day placements for boys and girls aged 7-19 years old with a diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome and other associated difficulties on the Autistic Spectrum.
The purpose of the school is to prepare students for the demands of adult life through staff expertise and specialist approaches. This includes providing a nurturing environment that encourages students to flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Previous experiences working within a schools setting and/or special educational needs would be advantageous but not essential.
This fantastic school offers a pupil centred educational programme encouraging the developments of all pupils.

6. Full time/part time – Full-Time Monday to Friday
7. Minimum rate of pay – £ – £ per hour
Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the SEN Teaching Assistant role :
Previous LSA experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
A passion for working with children with ASD, Asperger’s, Complex Needs
Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.

To be eligible as an SEN Teaching Assistant role through Prospero Teaching you must :
