About the role
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Advice Services Manager to lead our Crowborough office. This is an exciting opportunity to support and empower local people, particularly those facing disadvantage, by ensuring they have access to free, confidential, and impartial advice when they need it most.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Crowborough Advice Service.
* Manage a team of around 30 volunteer advisers who deliver a high‑quality, client‑focused, multi‑channel advice service.
* Ensure the service operates efficiently, meets quality standards and complies with all relevant regulations.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery.
* Represent the service to local stakeholders, commissioners and partners.
Qualifications
* Experience in managing volunteer teams or community services.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of the law and services that customers might need.
* Commitment to the Citizen Advice values and ethos.
