Civils Project Manager – Renewable Energy Project South of Scotland Permanent | Competitive Salary Package We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major renewable energy project in the South of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and energy projects across Scotland. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and completion of a large-scale renewable energy scheme. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, liase with clients and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to completion Managing programme, budget, and resource allocation Leading and motivating site teams and subcontractors Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships Identifying and mitigating commercial and operational risks Reporting regularly to senior management on progress and performance Requirements Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering Strong background in infrastructure, earthworks, roads, or renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, BESS, or similar) Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary site teams Excellent commercial awareness and contract knowledge (NEC experience desirable) Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant engineering qualification preferred What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on a high-profile renewable energy development Long-term project pipeline and career progression opportunities Supportive and forward-thinking leadership team If you are a driven Civils Project Manager looking to play a key role in delivering sustainable infrastructure in Scotland, we would be keen to hear from you.
