Job Title: Project Manager

We are currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary civil and ground engineering contractor, specialising in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across various sectors. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client, focusing on water schemes across the Midlands region. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
2. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and client requirements.
3. Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental practices on site, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
4. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks proactively to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
5. Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Manage procurement activities, including subcontractor selection, negotiation, and contract administration.
7. Ensure that all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Requirements:
8. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
9. Proven experience in project management within the civil engineering industry.
10. Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, including groundworks, drainage, and infrastructure.
11. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
12. CSCS Card - Minimum Gold Card
13. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
