Business Development Manager\n\n£35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Mobile + Laptop + Contributory Pension + 25 days Hols + BH’s\n\nThe Company\n\nMy client is a highly successful and well-established Foodservice business. They supply Food across all temperatures including Chilled, Ambient and Frozen into the Foodservice End User marketplace.\n\nCurrently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager in the North West (Greater Manchester / Lancashire)\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:\n\n * Selling Food into the Foodservice End User marketplace\n\n * 50% of your role will be focussed on New Business Development and 50% on Account Management\n\n * Dealing with Buyers, Owners, Chefs\n\n * You will be responsible for fully developing the existing customer accounts and prospecting for new business within the area, with particular attention being paid to Independent Business.\n\n * Working closely with the Head of Sales to drive sales\n\n * Full P&L responsibility for the accounts which come under your remit\n\n * Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the team’s goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability\n\nThe Candidate\n\n * You MUST have experience selling Food into the Foodservice End User marketplace.\n\n * You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge and not running away from something.\n\n * You will be a natural HUNTER – a strong Business Development Manager.\n\n * You could be someone who is now looking for more responsibility and more autonomy in your role.\n\n * You must be tenacious and willing to apply the work ethic required to be successful.\n\n * You will incredibly driven and have the desire to work in a people-centric environment – you put in the hard work, you will get the support and rewards in return.\n\n * All candidates must have a genuine passion for the industry – you must be a foodie and have the ability to relate to Chefs.\n\n * You will be based in the North West of England.\n\nFor more information on this role, then please contact Kate Shorthouse at TRC Group
