Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher Location: Milton Keynes Start Date: ASAP or September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm Salary: £33,075 to £50,471 (dependent on experience) About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and committed RE Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 teaching. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the school curriculum across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable) Develop students’ understanding of diverse religious beliefs, ethics, and worldviews Use a range of teaching methods to inspire and challenge learners of all abilities Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in RE Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and curiosity Collaborate with the humanities department and participate in curriculum development Maintain strong communication with parents and support pupil wellbeing Qualifications & Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Religious Education in a UK secondary school setting Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum, exam boards, and assessment criteria Excellent classroom management and communication skills A commitment to fostering students’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development Ability to motivate and engage pupils with a range of teaching strategies Why Join Us?
