We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to lead and develop a Commercial Property department based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer to take on a strategic role with genuine leadership responsibility and strong progression prospects.The Role: You will oversee and grow the Commercial Property team while managing a varied and high-quality caseload. Work will include:Advising on commercial acquisitions and disposalsActing on freehold and leasehold transactions, including landlord and tenant workDrafting and negotiating leases, licences, and development agreementsAdvising on portfolio management, land development, and refinancingManaging and mentoring junior team membersDriving business development initiatives and helping grow the departmentAbout You:Qualified Solicitor, ideally 6+ years PQE (or equivalent experience)Strong technical background in commercial property transactionsExperience handling a broad range of work, including landlord and tenant, development, and corporate supportLeadership or supervisory experience (or a desire to step into such a role)Client-focused, commercially aware, and confident in building relationshipsAble to take an active role in developing the team and service offeringWhat's on Offer:Leadership role with autonomy and responsibilityOpportunity to shape and grow a Commercial Property departmentMix of strategic and hands-on fee-earning workClear progression pathwayFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsCompetitive salary and benefits packagePlease contact Faith Kelly for a confidential discussion or apply within.
