About the role
Part Time, Weekends, 16 hours a week. As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, you will plan and implement activities that delight residents and support the Home Manager with fundraising events.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver activities that meet the needs and interests of residents.
* Assist the Home Manager with fundraising events.
* Encourage residents to socialise and build confidence.
* Collaborate with the care team to launch new activity ideas based on resident hobbies.
* Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and take appropriate action, including reporting concerns and providing escalation information.
* Attend safeguarding training relevant to the role.
Qualifications & Skills
* Background working with vulnerable or aged individuals; experience developing activity programmes preferred.
* Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
* Proficient IT skills and ability to manage data for activity planning.
* Positive, outgoing personality with natural ability to build rapport with residents, staff and families.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate respectfully, considerately and kindly.
