We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our service Bilberry Lodge in Lancashire.
Bilberry Lodge is a specialist residential service providing rehabilitation, care and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues.
Purposefully small Bilberry Lodge has capacity for up to 6 female residents, allowing for a calm, relaxing environment.
What you'll be working:
* Full time hours - 37.5 hours per week
* Long days including evenings and weekends.
* 12.5 hour shifts.
What you'll be doing:
* Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way
* Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
* Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
* Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
* Communicate any issues to the clinical team
* Accurately report and/or record work activities
What you'll have:
* A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
