Import / Export & Procurement Executive
Greenford | Full-Time, Permanent | £28,000 – £32,000 + Performance Bonus
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic organisation based in Greenford, who are looking to appoint an Import / Export & Procurement Executive to join their operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate-calibre candidate with hands-on experience in international logistics and purchasing, looking to develop a well-rounded career across both import/export operations and procurement.
The Role
This is a dual-focused position, with approximately 50% responsibility in import/export coordination and 50% in procurement support. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods internationally while supporting supplier management and purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Import / Export (50%)
Coordinate international shipments, with a strong focus on ocean freight
Prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities
Track shipments and manage customs clearance processes
Procurement (50%)
Support sourcing and purchasing activities across multiple suppliers
Manage supplier communications, follow-ups, and order tracking
Assist with cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings
Conduct market research and support supplier negotiations
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
About You
Graduate-level education (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
Previous experience in import/export operations, particularly ocean freight
Strong understanding of Incoterms and international shipping documentation (e.g. bills of lading)
Exposure to procurement or purchasing activities is highly desirable
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
