Job Description

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum one hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

1. Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
2. Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
3. Accompanying to appointments, social events or shopping
4. Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
5. Assist with administering medication

6. Applicants with a kind, compassionate heart who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients
7. Flexibility towards work schedules to include evenings and alternate weekends
8. Organised, flexible and reliable with excellent time-keeping
9. Good communicator
10. Willingness to travel to other areas within West Dunbartonshire and Argyll & Bute
11. Applicants ideally should have a driviers license and access to a vehicle although other methods of transportation may be acceptable and given due consideration depending on the needs of the client and their location.

Qualifications

No qualifications are necessary as full training will be given.
