Overview
Due to the continuing expansion of Heritage House School we are looking for a Learning Support assistant to join our outstanding team and support learners with special educational needs. You will be working closely with the teachers and other LSA’s to enhance the learning experiences of small groups of learners in a classroom environment. The position is working term-time only plus 5 inset days

Salary type: Bucks Pay
Salary Details: Bucks Pay Range 2 £25,625 - £27,770 pro-rata (Actual Salary £19,551 - £21,188)

About us
Heritage House School in Chesham is a special school where our learners are at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to enable children and young people to learn and achieve within an enriching, relevant, stimulating and enjoyable curriculum. In doing so, we will ensure our children and young people enjoy educational and social experiences which will prepare them for life beyond Heritage House.
Some of the social experiences that our learners take part in are hydrotherapy sessions in our own pool, as well as swimming in the local community pool, and a wide variety of trips such as local horse-riding, tennis and sailing.
About the role
The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated and talented team, working closely with the teachers and therapists to support learners in the classroom and with accessing other provision.
About you
We are looking for someone who is adaptive, creative, enthusiastic and dedicated to putting our learners at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will be a team player, flexible, calm and caring. Experience is desirable but not essential but you must have a willingness to learn. We offer full support through an induction programme, in-house training and mentoring.
