A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join our well established independent franchised client, based in Chelmsford CM1.

As a Sales Manager you will be confident in dealing with properties and clients across all price ranges into the very top end. You will be involved in the whole Property Sales process, from generating market appraisals and achieving respectable levels of fee, to helping and encouraging staff in carrying out viewings and negotiating deals, through to successful completion, combined with overall profit and loss.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating canvassing activities to generate new business
* Managing a small team
* Coordinating property valuations and listings
* Growing market share whilst maintaining a solid average fee
* Effectively marketing properties to buyers
* Encouraging staff to match prospective buyers to suitable properties and arranging viewings accordingly
* Maintaining regular contact with buyers, vendors, clients and other relevant parties to legal move‑in and completion
* Dealing with financial/legal matters relating to the sales process
* Guiding buyers and vendors through the sales process from agreement of the sale to legal completion
* Contributing to the smooth running of the branch on a daily basis
* Excellent administration ability and use of agency software systems
* Set and exceed personal targets
* Progressing property sales through to exchange and completion
* Net working skills
Qualifications & Skills
* Target‑driven with a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment
* Excellent communication skills and able to articulate ideas in a concise way
* Strong ability to manage a small team of negotiators
* Lead from the front
* Enjoy working in a team environment
* Desire to progress and challenge yourself continually
* Experience would be an advantage but not essential

Hours
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturdays with a day off in the week.
Salary
£30,000 – £35,000 pa basic salary. OTE of around £55,000 pa (plus car allowance).
