Then please read on as we may just have the role for you.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our fantastic team at our Burnley Wharf Marine Aggregates site in Southampton.\n\nReporting directly to Site Manager, the Multi Skilled Operativewill work on the day-to-day operations of mobile and fixedplant along with other site duties, you will work with the team to the site plan; ensuring that all stocks are maintained and replenished in good time along with working to keep housekeeping around site to a high standard.\n\nYour responsibilities in this role will include (not exhaustive):\n\nOperating both Fixed and Mobile Plant on site\nOperating the Weighbridge\nWorking with other members of the team to ensure that customers get good quality material and on-time deliveries\nAssist the Supervisor with meeting daily/weekly production targets\nFollow SHE policies and procedures\nEnsure Plant conforms with safety requirements at all times\nHealth, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities\nInspections on the plant and acting on defects and implement remedial action\nEnsure that plant availability is maximised\nWorking to keep housekeeping around site to a high standardPlease note that flexibility and adaptability are key to this role with Overtime available to meet with the sites production requirements.\n\nWhat we are looking for\n\nTo succeed in the role of a Multi Skilled Operativethe following is what we are looking for in a future colleague:\n\nProven experience driving and operating mobile plant –, Loading Shovel, Telehandler, etc\nKnowledge of Aggregate Operations\nGood Timekeeping – flexible as to the sites operating requirements\nGood Communication skills – bringing problems to the attention of Line Management\nFull UK manual car Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty pointsPrevious experience working in a Wharf / Plant / Quarry / Heavy Manufacturing environment would prove highly beneficial; but this is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.\n\nWhy Tarmac?\n\nYou will be joining acollaborative andinnovative team.We offer opportunities to grow, take ownership, and work on impactful projects across our organisation and the broader CRH Group.\n\nReady to build your future with us?\n\nApply now and take your next step in a rewarding career.\n\nIn addition to the role of Multi Skilled Operative, we also offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives and benefits including: \n\nBonus scheme \nEnhanced holiday entitlement \nContributory pension scheme \nAccess to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc. \nAccess to our Employee Assistance helpline for free and confidential advice \nAccess to join our Employee Communities (employee networks) we currently have nine communitiesinc.(REACH) Religious, Ethnic, Cultural Heritage, LGBTQ+, Parents & carers, Ability, Wellbeing, Female voice and menopause\nTraining and development opportunities Interested?
