Nurture Fosttering is a small, family-owned Independent Fostering Agency based on Lewisham High Street. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our service on a maternity cover basis, providing strong leadership and support to a dedicated team of social workers. Working in close partnership with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving outcomes for children and young people in our care.Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and manage a team of social workers, promoting a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning
* Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
* Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care
* Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to deliver the agency’s vision and objectives
* Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service quality and outcomes
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
* Attend statutory meetings and empower social workers to feel confident and supported in their roles
* Quality assure annual reviews and Form F fostering assessments
About You
* Qualified Social Worker
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience in a Team Manager or management role
* Strong knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and fostering regulations
