IT Manager (Azure / M365 / Infrastructure Ownership)
Location: South Manchester, (onsite 3/4 days a week)
Salary: Up to £60,000 Per Annum
The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on IT Manager role with real ownership. Youll take full responsibility for a modern, cloud‑first environment, acting as the senior technical lead on‑site. The business has already invested heavily in Microsoft technologies, now they need someone to own, optimise and evolve it.
This would suit either:
* An experienced IT Manager who still enjoys being technical
* A Senior Infrastructure Engineer ready to step into leadership

What you’ll be doing:
* Owning and improving the Azure and M365 environment
* Leading on identity, security and access (Entra ID / Azure AD)
* Managing infrastructure including networking, firewalls and Wi‑Fi
* Overseeing endpoint management (Intune / Autopilot)
* Ensuring backup, DR and business continuity are fit for purpose
* Acting as the senior escalation point for technical issues
* Working closely with stakeholders to align IT with business needsManaging vendors and third‑party providers
What they’re looking for:
* Strong Microsoft stack experience (Azure + M365)
* Solid infrastructure background (networking, firewalls, endpoints)
* Experience in a cloud‑first or SaaS environment
* Comfortable taking ownership and making technical decisions
* Able to communicate with both technical and non‑technical teams
Previous experience with security frameworks or compliance is a bonus — not essential.
