Tasks
The duties of the Trade Compliance and Logistics Administrator include:
1. Adhere to customs and international trade guidelines
2. Comply with UK-EU / ROW regulations and HMRC policies
3. Maintain accurate records for import/export transactions
4. Coordinate with LSPs and provide clearance instructions for shipments
5. Understand and apply import/export procedures and product classification
6. Verify and document CDSs & EADs for HMRC reports
7. Record and review freight, duty, and VAT invoices
8. Communicate with internal departments on compliance issues
9. Report service issues and compliance failures to manager promptly
10. Prepare commercial invoices
11. Arrange transport and manage delivery dates
12. Approve invoices from LSPs and customs brokers
13. Build strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams
14. Possibly undergo export control training
Requirements
The ideal Trade Compliance and Logistics Administrator should meet the following requirements:
15. Business Degree or Equivalent (Preferred)
16. Minimum of 1-2 years’ administrative experience of working in a trade compliance / logistics environment with an understanding of Incoterms
17. Clear understanding of customs procedures and product classification
18. Dealing with Fast Parcel Operators / LSPs and working to strict deadlines
19. Knowledge of SAP an advantage
20. Experience in the aviation industry and landing gear services an advantage
21. Knowledge in EAR99 (Desirable)
22. Effective communication skills across all levels
23. Highly organized with attention to detail and administrative skills
24. Office environment, based in Hayes
25. Full time role

29. Mandatory Training will be required
