A values driven, multi disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing Nottingham team. The successful Senior Structural Engineer will:
* Take charge of multi-disciplinary design coordination, ensuring technical packages are delivered from initial brief to final handover.
* Create cost-effective, practical structural designs that seamlessly integrate with architectural visions.
* Act as the technical lead on site, attending project meetings to manage client expectations and project progress.
* Support with monitoring of fee income, manage engineering resources, and assist in bidding for new contracts.
* Conduct detailed structural surveys and draft comprehensive reports for a variety of secure environments.
* Mentor the next generation of engineers, guiding junior staff through their training and professional growth.
* Champion BIM and 3D design strategies to ensure all project drawings meet modern digital standards.
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with:
* An MEng or BEng degree and a commitment to achieving IStructE or ICE Chartership.
* Active UK SC Clearance (or the eligibility to obtain it), which is essential due to the sensitive nature of the sector.
* Expertise in managing projects valued between £200k and £12m, with a deep understanding of UK Building Regulations.
* The ability to operate within strict client policies and highly regulated frameworks.
* Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to multi disciplinary collaboration.
