Job Description
Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.Prepare and process payment runs in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.Assist in month-end processes, including ledger reconciliations.Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries or issues.Support the wider accounting team with ad hoc administrative tasks.Contribute to process improvements within the purchase ledger function.The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
Previous experience in a similar role within the accounting and finance department.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information.Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.Good understanding of purchase ledger processes and procedures.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.What's on Offer
