Stanley Primary School, located in Blackpool, is a vibrant and inclusive primary school serving approximately 600 pupils aged 4 to 11. Our school has consistently been rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection in November 2023 highlighting our strong curriculum, exemplary pupil behaviour, and effective safeguarding practices.
We are seeking 2 dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our team. The successful candidates will support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers to provide targeted interventions and support for pupils with diverse needs. They will also supervise whole classes for cover purposes & short term absence of teachers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued success and development of our school community.
Applicants should have relevant experience and have a proven record showing ability to:
- Have lots of energy while being flexible, adaptable and able to use your own initiative
- Demonstrate good organisational skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with children, parents, staff and the wider community
- Demonstrate a wide knowledge and application of behavioural strategies, and clearly show how these can be implemented effectively to meet individual children's needs
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning to individuals, groups and/or classes modifying and adapting activities as necessary.
- Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment.
- The post holder will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance

The role is 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days (Includes 30 minute lunch break and 30 minute Welfare duty). You would be required to start September 2025.
