Post Title: Senior Management Accountant

Salary: £43,916 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed term contract - expected end date is April 2026, or return of substantive post holder whichever is sooner.
The role:
BH Live is recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to join us at Bournemouth International Centre. You will lead our finance team and be responsible for all aspects of the finance and accounting functions up to trial balance, as well as producing the company management accounts.
You will:
* Prepare the year-end accounts for external audit and support the annual external audit process.
* Responsible for the timely monthly preparation and production of all aspects of the Management Accounts, ensuring all anomalies are investigated and resolved, escalating potential impacts to the Head of Finance and/or Director of Finance and Business Support.
* Lead and manage the accounts payable, receivables, reconciliation, and management accounts teams, providing effective management, leadership, and motivation, and ensuring their skills and knowledge are kept up to date.

To be successful you will need:
* Ideally you will be ACCA / CIMA qualified, but we will consider part-qualified or business experienced applicants.
* Previous managerial experience, coaching, leading, and developing others.
* Experience of Management Accounts.
* To be highly numerate, analytical, and organized.
* A very good working knowledge of Excel and accounting and reporting systems e.g., Xledger, Power BI.
